TECT Corporation is a business that has grown in the aerospace market exponentially through acquisition and innovation. I worked with them to organize their business units into a structure that helps users see the relationships between the services they offer.  The project included development of information architecture, design, and UX for this project to align all their communications under a consistent brand.

This site was created as part of an integrated public awareness campaign launched in several major markets in Kansas. The campaign emphasizes the dangers of secondhand smoke by educating the viewer the dangers of the chemicals and additives that are used in the manufacturing of cigarettes. The campaign site provides educational content and resources to encourage the communities to take a more active role in raising awareness of the dangers of secondhand smoke.

Cessna Aircraft Company set out to redesign Cessna.com to set itself apart from others in the aviation industry and to make the information in the site more user centric.

The project included tools that will allow pilots to visualize and compare various aircraft based various ranges, speeds, field performances and passengers for every aircraft. The range map tool leverages the Google maps API and plots the estimated flight range of each aircraft figuring for map projection variations. The aircraft comparison tool allows users to compare and contrast each aircraft showing the benefits and overlap of features in the Cessna family of aircraft, unifying the lines, which allows sales people more options when interacting with customers.

The site also features an aircraft specific multimedia gallery, product information, specs, and video content distributed throughout the site.

A site developed to showcase the very different and amazing places General Aviation Pilots visit with their Cessna aircraft. The site consisted of a map app. that allows users to upload and pin their photos to locations on the map to show other pilots where they have been with their aircraft. Pilots could pin photos to the map using the site or simply tag photos in their flickr sets with “cessnayouarehere”. The site collected photos from all parts of the globe and enhanced the brand experience around the existing Cessna single engine community.

Early pitch executions to brand Cessna’s new light sport aircraft the “SkyCatcher”. This inexpensive entry level aircraft helped to make owning a Cessna more attainable.

Identity developed for a band I was in.

Q: How do you move tons of food processing equipment around the globe to trade shows and sales presentations?

A: You don’t.

Marlen Research Corporation develops custom food processing systems for some of the world’s largest producers. These systems take up whole factory floors. Development of 3-D walk-arounds and vignettes to showcase each of the machine’s capabilities was required. These touchscreen presentations were integrated into their multi-panel trade show display system to help their sales force demonstrate the systems capabilities.

Epic Apparel is a local clothing boutique that has since expanded their reach throughout the Midwest and online. I created the video installation and exterior signage for their flagship store. It consisted of a long-form promotional video showcasing the stores seasonal fashion, rear projected onto translucent vinyl shapes applied to the exterior windows of the store. This approach allowed the store a way to showcase the seasonal fashion and generate a lot of buzz for the new store. The results were traffic stopping.
