Cessna Aircraft Company set out to redesign Cessna.com to set itself apart from others in the aviation industry and to make the information in the site more user centric.

The project included tools that will allow pilots to visualize and compare various aircraft based various ranges, speeds, field performances and passengers for every aircraft. The range map tool leverages the Google maps API and plots the estimated flight range of each aircraft figuring for map projection variations. The aircraft comparison tool allows users to compare and contrast each aircraft showing the benefits and overlap of features in the Cessna family of aircraft, unifying the lines, which allows sales people more options when interacting with customers.

The site also features an aircraft specific multimedia gallery, product information, specs, and video content distributed throughout the site.
